Context¶
The Application Context is designed to build and configure MapStore’s viewers: the administrator is able to configure a custom MapStore viewer by choosing:
The name of the context (the viewer will have its own specific URL)
The default map configuration and map contents (like layers, backgrounds, catalogs, CRSs etc)
The set of plugins available for the viewer
The Admin can access the Application Contexts through the homepage by filtering them. From there the can edit existing context by clicking on the pencil over a context card or creating a new one.
Context demo¶
In order to create a context, the Admin can click on the “Create context” menu from Add Resource button in the home page and he will be addressed directly to a Wizard. Such a Wizard is composed by the following four steps:
