Dashboard
=========

In MapStore, a `Dashboard <https://docs.mapstore.geosolutionsgroup.com/en/latest/user-guide/exploring-dashboards/>`__ is a space where the user can add many Widgets, such as charts, maps, tables, texts and counters and can create connections between them in order to:

1. Provide an overview to better visualize a specific data context
2. Interact spatially and analytically with the data by creating connections between widgets
3. Perform analysis on involved data/layers

The possible widgets in dashboard are:

- `Legend <https://docs.mapstore.geosolutionsgroup.com/en/latest/user-guide/adding-widgets/#legend-widget>`__ (a map must be present)

Creating Chart, Text, Table and Counter widgets the procedure is almost the same as that described for create widgets in maps
